A quiet shift is underway

A quiet shift is underway, moving away from persona and performance, towards practice that is grounded, embodied, and usable. Soulkin, the community founded by Nahza Kalin, has set out to become a forum for that shift in the Nordics, curating retreats, trainings, and gatherings rooted in Taoism and Qigong. For all its visibility, much of the wellness world still trades in spectacle. Soulkin is built the other way around. It treats Qigong and the Taoist tradition not as trends but as disciplines with thousands of years of history, and as a practical toolbox anyone can learn and carry.

Autumn programme

Mantak Chia's final European tour

The autumn programme includes a rare opportunity to study with Grand Master Mantak Chia as part of what is expected to be his final teaching tour in Europe, alongside retreats with Master Fan Xiulan and Dr. Sebastian S. Smith, continuing Soulkin's commitment to bringing authentic Taoist traditions to contemporary seekers in the Nordics.

An evening in the Soulkin field

On June 16th we invited kin into the field of Soulkin Gatherings: an intimate evening devoted to the meeting of ancient practices, modern embodiment, and meaningful human connection. Rooted in Tao and the cultivation of vitality, chi and life force, the evening offered a first glimpse into the field we are building through practices such as Medical Qigong, Alchemy of Vitality and Sexual Alchemy practices in Taoism.

Our work

Practices you take home

Soulkin's work is, at heart, educational. Its programme of retreats and trainings is designed so that what happens in the room does not stay there; these are practices you take home and keep using, a steadier relationship with your own body and attention that holds long after the candles blow out. Each gathering is an entry point to that ongoing learning rather than a one-off experience.
